CONFIDENtiALiTY
We require strict adherence to the code of ethics and rules of our firm as stipulated by the Uniformed Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), The American Society of Appraisers, as well as The International Valuation Standards Committee. It is firm policy that every employee and subcontractors sign a confidentiality agreement the day they are hired. In some instances, we may sign confidentiality agreements for each engagement if required by the client.
In all aspects of our practice, the firm and its personnel maintain a strict standard of confidentiality towards information that which is obtained during the course of carrying out our professional duties. As professional appraisers, we must at all times deal with the clients' affairs with proper discretion and confidentiality. We will not, and do not disclose to any third party without the clients prior written consent any sensitive factual data obtained from a client, or the results of an assignment prepared for a client, to anymore other than those specifically authorized by the client unless legallly required to do so.
